Play is the natural way children express themselves. They understand and make sense of their world through play. In play therapy, the therapist can guide the child in discovering areas of concern and learn how to best resolve the difficulties in the child’s life. Families can strengthen relationships through guided play therapy . Parents can come to better understand their children and children can learn to express themselves and accept limits through family play therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, is a theory that uses one’s own mind to change your mind set. This helps people to change  their thinking and improve their outlook on life. 

This is a broad term which includes parent-child interactions, meetings surrounding behavior plans, setup to change a negative behavior and increase positive behavior.

Modeling how to start difficult conversations and how to create a safe space in homes to talk about difficult subjects for children and teens.
